Finders Keepers is a tattoo shop owned and operated by local artist boy Roland, working alongside artists Dave Mancuso, Noah Tuomisto, Hope Heart, Mike Gresham, and Sonya Lacroix. At its core, it’s a creative space: part tattoo shop, part cabinet of curiosities, part clubhouse for people who can’t stop making things. While tattooing is how we make our living, our practices extend far beyond it, with backgrounds in fine art, illustration, design, mural work, and other creative disciplines. Each artist brings a distinct voice to their work, and that individuality is something we value deeply and continue to build together.

This exhibition grew out of that spirit.

Each of the six artists contributed five original concepts into a shared pool of prompts, creating a list of 30 ideas that every artist then interpreted through their own unique lens. The result is a flood of overlapping inspirations, strange detours, happy accidents, and six entirely different ways of seeing the same thing. Some pieces arrived exactly as intended. Others wandered off into the dark with a flashlight and came back weirder.

Working from concepts that weren’t always their own pushed each artist into unfamiliar territory, leading to unexpected directions, discoveries, and outcomes. The show became less about uniformity and more about translation: six artists pulling signals from the same storm and turning them into something personal.

Created through photo transfer onto wood and presented in a format inspired by traditional tattoo flash, these pieces exist both as standalone artworks and as designs that can be carried onto skin. By bringing this format into a gallery setting, Flash Flood highlights something central to our practice: tattooing is only one extension of what we do. We are artists working across mediums, using tattooing as one of many ways our work finds its way into the world.

Every piece in the exhibition is available for purchase and can also be booked as a tattoo with its respective artist. Take a piece home. Wear one forever. Or just stand in the current for a while.
